The Dead Planet - Production
If you are interested in how this kind of computer animated movie is made, here are some notes from Scott.
John Robinson and Dr. Smith were made from scratch using some software called Poser 7. Poser 7 was used for all the animations inside the ship. All the outside animations shown at the beginning of the movie are created using Vue 6 Esprit. Scott also used Photoshop for making the costumes and some of the objects.
